Our approach

How we raise our kittens

What began as a deep love for the Ragdoll breed has grown into something that brings joy to our entire household. We take great care in choosing healthy, beautiful lines and raising kittens with the sweet temperaments and soft coats Ragdolls are adored for.

Our kittens are raised under constant veterinary supervision. They are litter trained and socialized with our family, including our children and dog, from birth. We feed only high-quality food, including Life's Abundance and human-grade meats, so every kitten gets a strong nutritional start.

We work with traditional Ragdoll colors including seal, blue, mitted, and bicolor, and we place a strong emphasis on temperament and health. All of our breeding cats are TICA and CFA registered and genetically tested clear for hereditary conditions.

Whether a kitten joins a family in Washington, Oregon, or anywhere in the Pacific Northwest, we always try to make the experience personal, honest, and supportive. Every adoption includes time spent together in our home, where you can meet the kittens, see how they're raised, and feel comfortable asking any questions.

We truly enjoy connecting with families and helping them find the perfect Ragdoll kitten, one that will be loved just as much as our children love them while they're here.

Families from Seattle, Portland, Spokane, Eugene, and across Washington and Oregon choose Lapdolls because we keep our program small, transparent, and personal. All pickups take place at our home in Vancouver, WA or at Portland International Airport (PDX), where families can meet us, see where the kittens are raised, and feel comfortable throughout the adoption process.
