Products and supplies we use in our home with all of our cats and kittens. Continue using what your kitten is already familiar with, or use this as a starting point.

Food
We feed Life’s Abundance alongside human-grade meats. Kittens go home eating exactly what they have been raised on, so the first thing worth doing is keeping that constant for a fortnight. Changing food and changing homes in the same week is how you end up with an upset stomach and a worried owner.
Supplements
None of these are essential for a healthy cat on a good diet. They are what we reach for around stressful moments: a move, a vet visit, a new home. If your kitten is eating well and settled, you do not need any of them.
Cat care
Ragdoll coats have no dense undercoat, so they mat rather than shed heavily. A comb twice a week prevents the mats that form behind the ears and in the armpits. Almost everything else on this list is about making the first few weeks easier rather than about the cat.
