Ragdoll Kittens for Sale in Oregon and Portland

Lapdolls is in Vancouver, Washington, about 15 minutes from downtown Portland across the Columbia River. For most Oregon families that is closer than any breeder inside the state. Kittens are $2,700, TICA and CFA registered, spayed or neutered and microchipped, and go home between 13 and 15 weeks old.

If you have been searching for a Ragdoll breeder in Oregon and coming up short, the reason is usually geography rather than availability. The Portland metro spills across a state line. We are on the Washington side of it, ten minutes north of the Columbia, and a large share of the families we place with have Oregon addresses.

How long is the drive from your part of Oregon?

Almost every Oregon family collects in person. It is the part we would encourage: you meet the kitten, you see the room it grew up in, and you can ask the awkward questions face to face.

Times are rough and assume you are not driving at five o'clock on a Friday.

Coming from Bend or Central Oregon?

This is the one that needs planning rather than just a date. The drive crosses the Cascades, either over Government Camp on US-26 or the Santiam Pass on OR-22. Between roughly November and April both can require traction devices, and both can close outright for a day at a time.

If your kitten is ready in the middle of winter, tell us early and we will build the pickup around the forecast rather than the calendar. Some Central Oregon families prefer to meet at PDX instead, which keeps the whole trip on the west side of the mountains.

Can you collect at Portland International Airport?

Yes. PDX is about 20 minutes from us and it is a normal arrangement for families coming from further south, or flying in from elsewhere in Oregon. If you are outside driving distance altogether, a flight nanny can carry the kitten to you in cabin.

Looking for an adult Ragdoll cat in Oregon?

Honestly, it is worth a look, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. Ragdolls and Ragdoll mixes do turn up in Oregon rescues, usually as adults rather than kittens, and an adult with a known temperament suits plenty of households better than a kitten does.

What a rescue generally cannot give you is health testing on both parents, a known line, or a breeder on the other end of an email in five years. If those matter to you, a breeder makes sense. If they do not, a rescue is the better answer and we will not be offended.

There is a middle option people forget: we rehome our own retired breeding cats as pets. They are adults with settled personalities, already spayed or neutered, and cost significantly less than a kitten. What comes with an Oregon kitten

Exactly what comes with any other kitten. TICA or CFA registration, your choice of registry. Age-appropriate vaccinations. Both parents DNA tested and clear. A three-year genetic health guarantee. Kittens are spayed or neutered and microchipped here before pick-up, so there is nothing to book on that front once you are home.

Price is $2,700 flat, the same for every kitten whatever the color, pattern or sex.

What colors do you breed?

Seal and blue, in bicolor and mitted patterns. Not colorpoint, and not the rarer colors like lilac or cream.
