When our breeding cats retire, they're looking for a loving forever home. These are fully health-tested adult Ragdolls with wonderful, known temperaments.
Our retired cats are adults with known personalities. No surprises. They're litter trained, socialized, genetically tested, and have lived their whole lives in our family home. They adjust quickly and make incredible companions. Adoption fees are significantly less than kitten prices. Retired cats are spayed/neutered before going to their new homes.

Our second-generation princess, born in our cattery and famous for her affectionate nature and lap snuggles. Friendly and curious, Markissa is retiring from our breeding program and is ready to shower her forever family with love.
An adult cat settles differently from a kitten, and mostly more easily. A kitten is learning what the world is. A retired queen or king already knows, and is simply working out where the food is and which lap is best. Most of ours are eating normally the same day and sleeping on someone within a week.
The one thing that genuinely takes longer is the shift from cattery routine to being the only cat in a quiet house. Our adults have always had company. For the first few weeks they will follow you from room to room and complain when you shut a door. That settles. It is worth knowing before you decide, because a household that is out twelve hours a day is a harder fit for a retired breeding cat than for a kitten who has never known anything else.
| Retired adult | Kitten | |
|---|---|---|
| Temperament | Already known and settled | Still forming |
| Spay or neuter | Done before they go home | On an agreement, or arranged for a fee |
| Litter training | Long established | Started here, finished with you |
| Adoption fee | Significantly less than a kitten | $2,300 flat |
| Adjusting to a quiet home | A few weeks, they miss the company | Days, they know no different |
People who want the Ragdoll temperament without the kitten stage, and people who would rather know exactly what they are getting. It is also the honest option if the price of a kitten is the thing standing in the way. A retired cat costs significantly less and has a decade of affection left in them. Dobrinya is a World Champion who wants a lap, not a show bench.
We place them the same way we place kittens, with a conversation first. If we do not think it is a good fit we will say so.
