Ragdoll Kittens for Sale near Seattle

Lapdolls Cattery is located in Vancouver, Washington, about three hours south of Seattle by car. The Puget Sound area has been one of our strongest regions since we started in 2017, and a good number of our kittens have gone home to Seattle, Bellevue, and Tacoma families. The logistics are well worn at this point, so we can tell you exactly how it works.

Three ways Seattle families collect a kitten

Drive down to us. Most Puget Sound families do this. It is roughly 2.5 to 3 hours on I-5, and plenty of families make a day of it and stop in Portland on the way back. You get to meet us, see the room the kittens grew up in, and let your kitten settle in the carrier before the drive rather than meeting it at an airport gate.

Collect at PDX. If you would rather fly than drive, Portland International is about fifteen minutes from our door and we can meet you there. For a Seattle family this is rarely worth it over driving, but it suits people connecting from further afield.

A flight nanny to Sea-Tac. If the drive genuinely does not work, a nanny carries your kitten in-cabin as their carry-on and hands it to you at Sea-Tac. Never cargo. Our family runs PDX Flight Nanny, a cats-only service out of Portland International, so we can handle the whole journey; you are equally free to book someone else. Either way, we will say plainly that for most Seattle families the drive is cheaper and easier on the kitten than any flight.

Why Washington families choose Lapdolls

There aren't many TICA and CFA dual-registered Ragdoll catteries in Washington. We've been breeding since 2017 and we keep our program small so every kitten gets the attention it needs. Our cats are genetically tested clear for HCM, PKD, and blood typed. Every kitten comes with a 3-year health guarantee, age-appropriate vaccinations, and registration with TICA or CFA (your choice).

Our kittens are raised in our family home with five children and our dogs. They're handled daily from birth, which means they grow up confident, social, and comfortable with noise and activity. Families with kids especially appreciate this because the kittens are already used to being held, carried, and loved on by little hands.

Price

Every Lapdolls kitten is $2,300, the same price for every kitten whatever the colour, pattern, or sex. A $500 deposit reserves your kitten and comes off the total. We price flat on purpose, so nobody pays extra for whichever pattern is currently fashionable and nobody feels nudged toward a kitten because it is the cheaper one.

What's included with every kitten

Kittens go home intact and are placed on a spay or neuter agreement. Most families arrange the surgery with their own vet once the kitten has settled in. If you would rather your kitten come home already altered, ask us and we can arrange it for an additional fee.

Colors and patterns we breed

We work with traditional Ragdoll colors including seal and blue, in both bicolor and mitted patterns. All of our breeding cats produce kittens with the deep blue eyes that Ragdolls are known for. You can see our current kings and queens on our breeding cats page.
